Cannot connect to download plugins
I'm trying to get FFXIV-App up and running, however the program seems to be unable to connect to my internet connection. I have launched the program an administrator, and ensured that I have no firewall/port blocking. I did a little bit of digging around using a process hook, and found that it's attempting to access C:\Windows\System32\Venpogexo64.dll whenever I click the update button on the plugin page, which doesn't seem to be a valid DLL for me. I do have the .NET framework installed, as recommend on this site. I've included a screenshot for reference. I'd be happy to answer any questions I can to help get this working.

Where did you download the app from?
I don't ever use a DLL like that and googling the DLL name takes me to 1 result with virustotal saying it's a not good.
Are you using a portable executable usb drive or something like that?
The app by default will make some folders in My Documents\FFXIVAPP and create settings files there, and in C:\Users<name>\AppData\Local\SyndicatedLife<appname>*.config (.net config files for app).
The default list of plugins is loaded from:
I've checked each one of those package.json links as well and see no reference to that DLL.
Please scan your system.
I downloaded it from this site :-\ . I assumed it was being hooked through some .NET function being called. I've had issues with 64bit binaries connect to the web previously after I cleaned out a rather well entrenched virus. Maybe i'll just re-install my windows instance. Thanks.
Okay. I was just concerned it was being distributed outside of GitHub. The only download I have full control over is the link to the zip on GitHub.
I've had to reinstall my windows as well once after getting something as well... it's a pain in the butt. From what it looks like though something is blocking the app altogether.
These are the http requests it will make during startup:
Please let met know if there's anything else I can help with.
